The land of Milk and Honey

Hello dears!

\We are about to celebrate Shavuot - Jewish Holiday of receiving the Torah (Bible).

And with this holiday it's customary to eat dairy.

There are a couple of explanations of why, we don't know for sure, but it opens a door to learn more.

We were given Torah on Mount Sinai - the guidance for life, many opportunities to make our human life more meaningful, to correct ourselves, to be aware, to be joyful, healthy, happy, and free!

The Kashrut Laws are insanely complicated and and we might think that they are faraway from making us free, but...

Only now science starting to understand that mixing meat with milk is very counterproductive!

We simply can't absorb the iron from meat, or calcium from the milk, when mixing them together.

The nutrients compete with each other...

So, we are taking the life of the animal not for our healing and nourishment, but what for? We are taking away mother's milk for our egoistical side...

So, by doing so we are feeding our Ego, not nourishing our body.

It becomes an entertainment, not "Food is the Medicine"..

So what makes us aware, what we eat, when we eat and how we eat? Without the awareness, we are just stuffing our faces and entertain our taste buds.

Maybe that's why we are living in such a mess...

Maybe "evil corporations" just mirroring us, the way we eat, think, buy, cure... is simply a reflection of our ego?

Why we have food in the first place? I'm not claiming to know it all, nor I'm telling you to convert to Judaism, or become more observant :) I'm far away from all that myself.

It's just one possible side to live life as a human on Earth... And since we are approaching Shavuot , it might be a good start to go deeper...

Being a health enthusiast for years, I often observe how many of my "health freaks" friends are getting sicker as well. We can blame many other factors, yes, but with a little better understanding I feel that it's happening because we miss the point. The most important point is that we forgot who feeds us. I personally take it for granted. Yes, I'm grateful, but many times, I'm simply asleep, stuffing my face with my super organic food ... I'm grateful for this moment, to learn more, to grasp and understand more, to practice my new knowledge and skills. And most importantly, to be closer to the nature and being one with nature and G-d. To have more respect and to respect myself more, to respect my body more, being more aware of what goes in...

Emotional state of mind is also very import. I mentioned this before. How it's important to know where our food comes from. Knowing that people who grow our food are spiritual people. They have high respect for the animals and plants. They pray. On our side - we pack your food in elevated spirit, and deliver it to you as well, even when things don't go as smooth. Because we love what we do! And we take that love seriously! Healing the world, one order at a time. One person, one family, one kitchen, one product at the time... Everything starts with ourselves. Peace starts at home, mostly in the kitchen. Make it holy!

Every little step counts. And YOU playing a very important role in this! You are supporting what is important to you. This is the only way to change the world and make it a better place. Thank you!

Although we are not in "a land flowing with milk and honey" physically yet, we can be in that land spiritually.

And we are so grateful that we can physically offer the best milk and the best honey to you!

May we all live in abundance of flowing milk and honey. Spiritually, emotionally, and the the physical realm too!

The freezers are full with top quality pastured grass fed meats - bison, beef, chicken, pork, and some limited lamb.

The meat is deeply frozen, and in the coolers in our refrigerator vans. It should be cold enough, but as the weather warms up, please let us know if you are not home soon enough after delivery. Leave a cooler with ice packs/ice - and we'll drop of your package with there. If it's not possible, please let us know and we'll pack an ice pack with your order. Please return clean ice packs to us. Earth Day is EVRY DAY! Let's not create more waste. Yes, we can reuse all those fancy subscription meals delivered to you packaging :)
