Hi dears!

Thanksgiving is next week.

One of my favorite holidays that I didn't grow up with in my Soviet Era childhood.

With each year, it's becoming more intimate, fulfilling, heart centered, and much less stressful!

Food is important and is the main attraction of this holiday, but it is so important to remember gratitude!

As you shop for ingredients, making a list of the dishes you are about to make, thinking about the decorations, cleaning your home, inviting the guests - please pause and breathe with the gratitude.

It can be incredibly stressful, but it shouldn't!

Being grateful and heart centered will change absolutely everything!

Put the music on, surround yourself with some great heartwarming art and stories.

Think about the history.

I always wonder how it was for the people before me. Who lived on this land before me.

Their stories. Their recipes. Their struggles and happy moments.

Life is so much more than we could ever imagine, and it's beautiful to think all those thoughts :)

It's such a blessing to have a family and experience this crazy life with the loved ones.

Being surrounded by the children, we are the foundation that they will carry all their life.

We are making memories where they can always visit within.

The feeling of being loved and cared. Character building.

Being grateful. Caring for others. We are changing the world by changing ourselves first.

Change starts at home, particularly in the kitchen. Do all the preparation with a smile and an open heart.

Let them see how happy it makes you feel to tend to the family.

It's not another holiday to be annoyed and stressed.

It's another opportunity to make ourselves better, to make this world a better place.
There are people that are lonely. See if you could invite them in.

A call, text, or a short visit could make their world spin faster.

Another awesome tradition that we have in our family is to be in the woods next day.

The consumerism will tell you to shop all day, but going outside will be much more satisfying!

Bundle up warmly, make a fire, bring hot dogs and marshmallows to roast, make hot cocoa and watch the magic.

I promise, you will find magic in that! No sweet deals of Black Friday could compete with that.

As for the cooking. Whole turkey makes a perfect dish that can feed a huge crowd.

However, roasting a whole turkey legs, whole duck, or even a chicken makes it so much easier.

Don't stress about that! Making a vegetarian meal is incredible too. We make all of the above, as our family is huge and we have a vegetarian in the house :)

As you are ordering your food from us, think about all the people that are involved in it. Share it with the kids.

The animals and veggies are grown and harvested with so much care and love.

Our farmers are incredible!

The turkeys are much happier, totally free ranged, fully pastured, living in a tiny little flocks.

They are raised with lots of respect. And they are processed with a lot of respect.

That is incredibly important to me personally.
