Rye Berries from our neighbors, Red Cat Farm
Chemical free. non-GMO. Locally grown with care for the soil and environment. Red Cat Farm grain products are grown in Germansville, PA using organic fertilizers and cover crops are used for soil fertility. Harvest is done with a 1950 Alis Chalmerrs All Crop combine.
Rinse and sort rye berries, cover with water and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook for 1 hour or until tender. Drain and use in your favorite recipe.
Keep refrigerated to ensure quality. Because our products are not treated in any way, we suggest that they are stored refrigerated or frozen.
